JOB SUMMARY

Education and Experience Minimum of OND in Engineering (Electrical, Production, or industrial Engineering, Food Technology or related field). Proven experience of 3-5 years as a Refining Operator or similar role in a soyabean processing plant.Requirements: Good oral and written communication skills. Good teaming skills. Knowledge of Crude Soya Refining Process Baseline problem analysis and solving skills. Creativity and an ability to think out of the box. Robust experience in troubleshooting, motor checks & repairs Should be knowledgeable on general maintenance mechanics. Should have basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting. Strong attention to details to detail and a commitment to quality. Age requirement: 23 - 25 years old.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job SummaryThe Refinery Operator is to operate processing equipment, optimize plant efficiencies and maintain log equipment checks as per Standard Operating ProceduresDuties Operate, control and adjust all refinery equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures. Understand processing schedules, operating logs, test oil samples results and identify equipment controls changes to produce specified product quantity and quality Maintain thermopack boiler temperature and vacuum in the deodorizer. Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure processed oil meet required standards. Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, collaborating with maintenance teams when necessary. Maintain accurate record plant operational metrics as per checklist. Provide detailed shift reports to ensure smooth transitions between operators. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring working environment. Must be able to synergize with other departments to achieve set goals. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Accountability for assigned works with attention to detail is a must.
