Job Description

  • The Registrar of Igbajo Polytechnic, shall be responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day administrative activities of the polytechnic, except for financial matte which shall fall within the purview of the Bursar of the polytechnic.
  • The Registrar shall be responsible for the effective management of human and other resources allocated to the Office of the Registrar. The Registrar shall provide input to policy and procedural deliberations, and to ensure the Polytechnic and faculty policies related to student admission and academic progress of the institution are followed.
  • The Registrar shall coordinate academic records, students' registrations and tak custody of academic transcripts.

Requirements

  • The Registrar shall hold a First Degree with a minimum of second class lower division or High National Diploma HND with at least a lower credit in Social Science Education, Arts, Humanities and other related courses from a recognize Institution of Higher Learning.
  • The Registrar shall have a minimum of fifteen 15 years post qualification cognate experience for First Degree and HND holders or Master's Degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of ten 10 years post qualification cognate experience, or Doctorate Degree Ph.D in relevant discipline with a minimum of ten 10 years post qualification cognate experience.
  • At least ten 10 years of which must have been gained in a Polytechnic or similar Technical and Vocational Education and Training TVET institution.
  • In addition to the above qualifications, candidates are expected to demonstrate intellectual and excellent conduct in discipline, integrity and sound judgment.
