Role Description

  • The Operations Officer will be responsible for managing daily processes, coordinating with suppliers and customers, and analyzing and reporting on performance metrics.
  • The Operations Officer will also be responsible for developing financial statements and forecasts and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Carry out invoicing, PFIs and POs
  • Align invoiced quantity in QuickBooks with Power BI daily
  • Reconciliation of deliveries and invoices on all accounts
  • Adding new Purchase Orders to Power BI as they are requested
  • Monitor delivered quantity/PO and make sure invoices are linked to the correct PO
  • Align with customers to make sure we don't overdeliver/ over invoice POs
  • Any other task as assigned by Management

Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of the various chemicals and their packaging.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel in using it to prepare stock reports.
  • Computer skills including the ability to use a spreadsheet and word-processing programs.
  • An understanding of the environment and general culture.

Practical Skills

  • Ability to identify the products in their various forms and packages.
  • Perform work in a professional manner that reflects positively on the image of Manuchar and the team.
  • Capable of working independently without supervision.
  • Ability to cope with brief but intensive high-activity periods.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and associates.
  • Follow work instructions and procedures as defined by Manuchar.

Requirements

  • A University degree in social sciences or sciences
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional working experience in Logistics or Warehouse Management
  • Prior work experience with chemicals is an added advantage
