We are seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our Supply Chain team. As a Supply Chain Shorebase Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our Shorebase Operations.

 

Your primary purpose will be to provide day-to-day oversight and be responsible for operationalizing key tactical and strategic decisions and processes determined by management. You will also provide guidance, streamline processes, and enhance overall efficiency, ensuring the seamless flow of resources critical to our operations. 

By leveraging your expertise, you will contribute to the organization's success by fostering innovation, minimizing risks, and driving continuous improvement in the supply chain function.

 

Applicants must be willing to work across multiple locations within and outside the country.

What role you will play in our team

 

  • Managing a multi-million dollar contract with the shorebase facility vendor/service provider. The contract services includes warehouses, stacking area, quay-side, offices, residential and recreational facilities, stevedoring and other vessel services.
  • Coordinating with operations to ensure swift and efficient service delivery of materials and supplies to offshore locations and backloading of materials and supplies from offshore locations.
  • The role will be primarily located in Onne, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
What you will do

 

  • Provide day-to-day execution of assigned tasks, strategic interface with Shorebase facility service provider and Supply Chain Management across multiple units, including Aviation, Shorebase, Marine, Materials Management, Integrated Planning, Business Support, Land Transportation, and Fuel Operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance supply chain resilience and adaptability.
  • Conduct regular assessments of Shorebase facility service provider’s performance and relationships, identifying areas for improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
  • Manage and optimize Shorebase operations for efficient supply chain activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless Shorebase logistics.
  • Implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
About you

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Social Sciences (Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Economics), or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in supply chain management, preferably within the energy sector or oilfield operations.
  • Proven expertise in managing supply chain Shorebase and Marine services support.
  • Contract administration and controls expertise
  • Good understanding of marine cargo measurements and standards.
  • Proven experience in Shorebase operations and logistics.
  • Knowledge of marine support and Shorebase best practices.
