Job Summary

  • The Infrastructure Engineer Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the design, development, and coordination of all infrastructure projects at CCDRN.
  • This position involves direct management of a team of infrastructure engineers and ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced professional capable of leading large-scale projects and making strategic decisions that align with CCDRN’s goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management and Coordination: Oversee all stages of infrastructure project development from conception through completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of infrastructure engineers. Foster a collaborative work environment and encourage professional growth and development.
  • Design and Planning: Work closely with the engineering team and other stakeholders to develop detailed project plans, including design specifications, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical expertise and oversight on all infrastructure projects. Ensure that designs and implementations meet industry standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Coordinate with internal departments, external partners, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets. Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation. Present progress updates and findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in infrastructure engineering. Recommend improvements to processes and technologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Professional Engineering PE license.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or Leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of engineers.
  • Excellent project management skills, including experience with project management software.
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure design, construction methods, and materials.
  • Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.

Working Conditions

  • This position is based at the CCDRN Head Office but may require travel to project sites across the northern states as needed.
  • Standard office hours apply, but flexibility is required to meet project deadlines and address any urgent issues that may arise.
