Supermarket Manager

Summary of Responsibilities
- To drive sales revenue through an effective marketing strategy.
- Build a strong network to ensure the traffic flow of customers to the supermarket.
- Ensure the supermarket meets maximum standard requirements for the display of items to encourage customer purchases.
- Ensure adherence to standard hygiene and safety guidelines in the various sections of the supermarket.
- Drive all employees to provide exceptional customer service aimed at sustaining the business.
- Ensure daily reconciliation of all sales lodgments i.e. cash and electronics payments to ensure the correctness of all transactions.
- Maintain inventories and ensure constant availability of stocks to avoid stock out etc.
Academic Qualifications and Skills
- HND / B.Sc. in Social Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar capacity.
- Business acumen and ability to forecast sales trends.
- Attention to detail and pleasant personality.
- Ability to work with less supervision and multitask.
- Ability to plan and excite strategic sales processes.
- Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
