Responsibilities:

• Provide technical direction and leadership to the development team.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for the company.

• Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions.

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

• Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of software developers and technical

• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Support the sales process as a pre-sales resource.

• Define and maintain the company's technology stack and architectural guidelines.

• Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of software systems.

• Establish and enforce best practices for software development, quality assurance, and testing.

• Implement processes to maintain code quality and security.

• Identify and mitigate technical and security risks.

• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

• Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners.

• Evaluate and select third-party tools and services when necessary.

• Develop and manage the technology budget, including resource allocation and cost

• Optimize resource utilization for maximum efficiency.

• Hands-on in projects when skills, competencies, and time are in sync with project

• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement a technology

roadmap aligned with business objectives.

• Identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage through technology.



Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role, preferably in the software development industry.

• Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.

• In-depth knowledge of software development, architecture, and cloud technologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Business English in writing and speaking.

• Business Process Understanding.

• Cultural Awareness

• Ability to align technology initiatives with business strategies.

• Familiarity with the local technology landscape and emerging trends in Nigeria.


Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of compliance and security standards relevant to the industry.

• Previous experience in startups or fast-growing tech companies is a plus.

• Experience in outsourcing or managing remote development teams.
