Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and test CCTV cameras, recording devices, and related equipment at various locations.Mount cameras securely and run cables neatly to ensure proper installation and optimal camera coverageProgram and set up DVRs, NVRs, and other recording devices to capture and store video footage.Configure network settings and integrate CCTV systems with existing security infrastructure if applicable.Perform regular maintenance checks on CCTV systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.Troubleshoot technical issues and repair or replace faulty equipment as needed.Monitor system performance and conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems or vulnerabilities.Keep accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and equipment inventory.Provide training and technical support to clients or end-users on operating CCTV systems effectively.Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in CCTV technology, and best practices for security monitoring.


Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training preferred.Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role.Strong technical skills and knowledge of CCTV equipment, including cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and network configurations.Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues with CCTV systems.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards.Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions if required.
