Pedicurist / Massage Therapist

Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Massage Therapist and Pedicurist. This position requires expertise in both massage therapy and pedicure treatments to provide exceptional services to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform various massage therapy techniques to address clients' specific needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and reflexology.
• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to determine their health conditions, preferences, and treatment goals.
• Customize massage sessions based on individual client requirements and preferences, ensuring a personalized experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in massage therapy rooms, including sanitizing equipment, changing linens, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy, including stress relief, pain management, and overall wellness.
• Provide professional pedicure services, including foot soaking, nail trimming, cuticle care, callus removal, exfoliation, massage, and polish application.
• Assess clients' feet for any skin or nail conditions and recommend appropriate treatments or referrals to specialists if necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines during pedicure procedures to prevent infections and promote a clean environment.
• Uphold exceptional customer service standards by addressing clients' concerns, answering questions, and providing recommendations for at-home care.
• Maintain accurate records of client appointments, treatments provided, and product usage for inventory management purposes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and product developments through continuous education and training opportunities.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and promote a positive working environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including punctuality, professional attire, and ethical conduct.

Qualifications

• Valid certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist and Pedicurist from a recognized institution or regulatory body.
• Proven experience in performing a variety of massage therapy techniques and pedicure treatments in a spa or salon setting.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and common musculoskeletal conditions relevant to massage therapy practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and provide personalized care.
• Demonstrated proficiency in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
