Responsibilities:


Operate and maintain factory electrical plant and machinery to ensure efficient and reliable production processes.Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities on equipment to identify and address any mechanical issues or potential breakdowns.Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance, implement process improvements, and enhance overall efficiency.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and production data.




Requirements:


Educational Qualifications: Minimum of an HND/BSc in an Electrical-related field.Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Operative or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in the food industry is required, with specific experience in cocoa processing being preferred.Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to operate, troubleshoot, and repair factory machinery and equipment effectively. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are essential.Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.Communication: Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
