Responsibilities:

Diagnose equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate repair activities to minimize downtime. Supervise and train a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and work efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and preventive maintenance schedules. Implement and enforce safety procedures within the maintenance department, ensuring the safety of all personnel and equipment.Plan, schedule, and implement preventive maintenance programs for assigned foundry equipment, including furnaces, molders, conveyors, and control systems. Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and other supervisors in the department to identify and resolve equipment-related issues impacting production. Stay up-to-date on new technologies and advancements in foundry equipment and maintenance practices. Motivate your team to achieve performance targets and contribute to the overall success of the plant.


Qualifications:

Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a heavy industrial or foundry environment. Proven track record of success in leading and motivating maintenance teams. Strong understanding of foundry equipment and maintenance procedures. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; take decisions under pressure. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong commitment to safety and quality.Ability to manage a minimum of 10 technicians.
