Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Execute accurate and timely preparation of ingredients following established recipes and portion control guidelines.Cooking Techniques: Grill, sauté, fry, or otherwise cook menu items, paying attention to cooking times and presentation standardsStation Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your designated cooking station(s), ensuring efficiency during service.Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate and expedite orders, contributing to a seamless flow in the kitchen.Quality Control: Adhere to established recipes and quality standards to ensure consistency in the taste and presentation of dishes.Adaptability: Quickly adapt to changes in the menu, ingredient availability, or kitchen procedures as directed by the chef or kitchen management.Timing: Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure timely delivery of dishes during busy service periods.Safety and Hygiene: Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.Communication: Effectively communicate with kitchen staff, servers, and management to relay order information and address any issues.Training: Assist in the training of new kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques, procedures, and kitchen protocols.


Requirements:

Culinary Skills: Proven experience in a kitchen environment with a strong understanding of various cooking techniques and food preparation.Food Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a hygienic work environment.Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, collaborative kitchen setting, contributing to a positive team dynamic.Adaptability: Flexibility to handle changes in the menu, recipes, or kitchen procedures while maintaining performance standards.Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication to facilitate smooth kitchen operations and coordination with team members.Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform tasks requiring physical endurance.Time Management: Efficient multitasking to meet service demands and maintain kitchen efficiency.Attention to Detail: Precision in following recipes, ensuring accurate portion sizes, and maintaining overall quality standards.
