Quality Control:

Monitor and maintain the quality of food preparation, presentation, and taste.Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to recipes, portion control, and hygiene standards.

Staff Training:

Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and adherence to standardized recipes.Implement cross-training initiatives to enhance team versatility.


Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation.Minimize food wastage through effective inventory control measures.


Hygiene and Safety:

Enforce strict adherence to sanitation and safety standards, including food handling and storage protocols.Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.


Menu Execution:

Ensure accurate execution of menu items and accommodate special dietary requestsWork closely with the chef to introduce new dishes or modify existing ones.


Communication:

Facilitate clear communication between kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.Relay important updates, changes in procedures, and feedback to the culinary team.


Problem Resolution:

Address and resolve kitchen-related issues promptly to maintain a seamless operation.Collaborate with management to develop solutions for operational challenges.


Adherence to Regulations:

Ensure compliance with health department regulations, company policies, and industry standards.Stay informed about industry trends, culinary innovations, and best practices.


Requirements:

Culinary Background:

Proven experience in a kitchen supervisory role or equivalent leadership position.Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices.


Leadership Skills:

Effective leadership abilities with a focus on team motivation, development, and collaboration.Excellent decision-making skills, especially during high-pressure situations.


Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational skills to coordinate kitchen activities, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.


Communication:

Excellent communication skills to convey instructions clearly and foster a positive working environment.Ability to collaborate with diverse personalities within the kitchen team and other departments.


Adaptability:

Flexibility to adapt to changing menus, staffing requirements, and operational needs.


Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with kitchen equipment, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
