JOB SUMMARY
RequirementsEducational Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field such as International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field.Experience:3 - 5 years work experience.Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in a nonprofit organization or international development context.Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation best practices, methodologies, and frameworksSkills And Abilities:Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SPSS, or other statistical analysis software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize activities effectively.Personal Attributes:A growth mindset and willingness to stay updated on monitoring and evaluation best practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance professional development and performance in the role.Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy and precision when collecting and documenting data to ensure the reliability of evaluation results.Critical Thinking: The capacity to evaluate information objectively, identify patterns and trends, and make informed decisions based on evidence.Problem-solving Skills: the capability to identify challenges in monitoring and evaluation processes and develop creative solutions to address them.Interpersonal Skills, that is the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, partners, and beneficiaries to facilitate data collection and collaboration in monitoring and evaluation activities.Adaptability to changing priorities, methodologies, and environments in the dynamic field of monitoring and evaluation.Commitment to upholding ethical standards in data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure the integrity and credibility of monitoring and evaluation processes.Work Environment:Work in the office. RESPONSIBILITIES
Objective:Develop and enhance the Foundation’s Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Framework to improve Program/project impact and effectivenessKey ResponsibilitiesImprove program/project impact assessment, and ultimately further the Foundation's mission and goals.Increase the completion rate of program monitoring reports as required.Implement, data collection tool for program/project evaluation in at least two projects by the end of the month.Conduct a comprehensive review of the M&E frameworks of all programs/projects and identify areas for improvement.Capacity building on M&E best practices and data collection techniques on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.Increase stakeholder satisfaction with M&E reporting in alignment with various milestones.Develop a dashboard for real-time monitoring of program performance and impact by the end of the quarter/year.By achieving these Key Results, the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will contribute significantly to enhancing the Foundation's M&E capabilities,
