Spare Parts Storeman

Responsibilities

• Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items.
• Working without much supervision and within a team environment.
• Handling of truck spare parts within the warehouse.
• Receiving and verifying the quality and quantity of new shipments.
• Handling customer request with care and diligence.
• Ability to idenify truck spare parts when it is needed by a customer.
• Communicating with customers in an experienced manner.
• Enter spare data in the ERP when required.
• Picking and Packing orders from the warehouse.
• Be well-organized and comfortable with deadlines.
• Updating inventory management system regularly.

Skills and Qualifications

• Certificate III in Warehouse preferred, but not essential
• Ability to manage complexity at varying levels and adapt quickly to changes in job priorities
• Computer literate with the familiarity of use with recognized inventory management programs or similarMS Office software applications.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic Knowledge of Truck Spare parts.
• Organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of point of sale software
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• In-depth knowledge of stocked merchandise
• Male Applicants only Age 20-34years
• Excellent Time Management Skills and the ability to prioritize workloads to meet standards.
• Experience within a similar position with a good knowledge of goods movement and inventory practices
• Good Knowledge of truck spares.
