  • We are seeking a passionate and analytical Product Manager to join our growing team and lead the development and innovation of our payments products.
  • You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to launch and optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams engineering, design, marketing to ensure a seamless user experience and drive business growth through payments solutions.

Job Details

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Define product strategy and roadmap based on market trends, user feedback, and business goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the payments landscape.

Product Development and Innovation:

  • Lead the development and innovation of Bumpa's payments products from concept to launch and optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to prioritize features, plan releases, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with payment partners to ensure seamless integration of payment solutions on Bumpa

Performance Analysis and Optimization:

  • Define and analyze key metrics to track product performance and iterate based on data-driven insights.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product development and performance.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Champion the needs of our SBO customers, ensuring that our payments solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in the payments space, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

Requirements

Required:

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the payments industry or a related field e.g., fintech, e-commerce.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing payment products.
  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including different payment methods wallets, cards, etc. and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in user research, data analysis, and product metrics.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for innovation and a desire to build user-centric payment solutions.

Desired Personal Attributes:

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with product management tools e.g., Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Understanding of the Nigerian and Global payments landscape if applicable.
