Aviot Industries is seeking a highly skilled Mechatronics Engineer to join our innovative team. The Mechatronics Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating electromechanical systems for avionics applications. This role requires expertise in mechanical engineering, electronics, control systems, and software development.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement mechatronic solutions that meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements for aerospace environments.


Responsibilities:
Design and develop electromechanical systems and components for avionics equipment, including sensors, actuators, motors, and control interfaces.
Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components to create mechatronic systems that meet functional and performance specifications.

Develop control algorithms and software for real-time control of mechatronic systems, implementing feedback loops, motion control strategies, and safety features.

Perform simulation, modeling, and analysis to predict the behavior and performance of mechatronic systems under various operating conditions.
Prototype, test, and validate mechatronic designs, conducting functional tests, reliability tests, and environmental tests to verify compliance with requirements.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of mechatronic systems with other subsystems.

Create documentation, including specifications, design documentation, test plans, and reports, to support the development, testing, and certification of mechatronic systems.

Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges during the design, development, and testing phases, ensuring timely resolution and project progress.

Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in mechatronics, aerospace engineering, and avionics technology.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards, as well as relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA).

Ensure mechatronic designs are completed on schedule, meeting project milestones and deadlines.

Design Efficiency:
Optimize mechatronic designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability, reducing development time and cost.

Minimize defects and rework by ensuring mechatronic designs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Innovation:

Contribute to the development of innovative mechatronic solutions and technologies that enhance the performance and competitiveness of Aviot Industries' products.


Collaboration:

Work effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate mechatronic systems with mechanical, electrical, and software components and achieve project objectives.


Cost Management:
Control project costs within budget constraints, identifying cost-saving opportunities and minimizing material waste.

Safety Compliance:
Ensure mechatronic designs meet safety and regulatory requirements, minimizing risks to aircraft and personnel.

Customer Satisfaction:
Meet or exceed customer expectations regarding the performance, reliability, and quality of mechatronic systems.

Professional Development:
Continuously improve skills and knowledge relevant to mechatronics, aerospace engineering, and avionics technology through training and self-study.

Environmental Impact:

Minimize the environmental footprint of mechatronic designs and manufacturing processes, considering factors such as energy efficiency and material sustainability.
