Aviot Industries is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems for avionics applications. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of mechanical systems into our products.

The Mechanical Engineer will also be involved in optimizing designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability while adhering to industry standards and regulations.


Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for avionics equipment, including enclosures, mounting hardware, and structural components.
Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations to evaluate the structural integrity and performance of designs.
Collaborate with electrical, software, and systems engineering teams to integrate mechanical systems with other subsystems.
Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve the functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness of mechanical designs.
Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.
Prototype, test, and validate mechanical designs to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and innovation in mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in mechanical engineering and avionics technology.
Support manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance teams during the production and assembly of mechanical components and systems.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards, as well as relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA).
