Nurse Assistant

The Nurse Assistant plays a vital role in providing basic care and support to patients under the supervision of licensed nurses.

• Assists patients with daily living activities, vital signs, and other tasks to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Take vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Serve meals and snacks, and assist with feeding as needed.
• Maintain patient rooms and common areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
• Communicate patient needs and concerns to licensed nurses.
• Document patient information and vital signs accurately.
• Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a nurse assistant training program.
• Basic life support certification.
• Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in a healthcare setting.
