Job Summary: Experienced Construction Site Supervisor sought to provide hands-on site supervision, manage labor, equipment, and materials, and ensure quality, productivity, safety, and profitability.
Job Description:
- Minimum of a Diploma in Project Management or a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a reputable Institution.
- Previous experience as a Construction Site Supervisor.
- Continuous improvement attitude.
- Ability to read and understand drawings/specifications.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and schedules while maintaining quality, safety, and profitability.
- Able to work within the project frameworks and adhere to all Company guidelines and policies.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time hands-on site supervision.
- Effectively allocate labor, equipment, materials, and artisans to maximize quality, productivity, safety, and minimize deficiencies.
- Effectively understand the project schedule to ensure deadlines are met on time.
- Communicate scope of work requirements to artisans, review production, quality, and ensure implementation.
- Calculate, monitor, and track all materials required for each project ensuring no overruns.
- Correspond with the Head of Operations regarding all adjustments as required, ensuring any materials are ordered in advance in-order to meet deadlines.
- Conduct daily tool box talks for your team.
- Communicate and administer all Safety policies and conduct site safety meetings.
- Resolve day-to-day field personnel issues and provide incident reports for office files.
- Quantify and track all materials inclusive of ordering, inspecting, and verifying shipments from suppliers.
