Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems within our FMCG factory. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our facility's plumbing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance:
- Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
- Ensure that all plumbing installations comply with relevant codes and regulations.
- Maintain and repair water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances.
Inspection and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and potential problems.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Use appropriate tools and techniques to repair and maintain plumbing systems.
Emergency Repairs:
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Implement quick and efficient repairs to resolve urgent plumbing issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Report any major issues or concerns to the relevant departments.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing plumbing work.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow standard operating procedures SOPs and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plumber in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Certification or diploma in Plumbing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required.
