Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems within our FMCG factory. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our facility's plumbing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance:

  • Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Ensure that all plumbing installations comply with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Maintain and repair water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances.

Inspection and Troubleshooting:

  • Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and potential problems.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Use appropriate tools and techniques to repair and maintain plumbing systems.

Emergency Repairs:

  • Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls to minimize downtime and disruption.
  • Implement quick and efficient repairs to resolve urgent plumbing issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Report any major issues or concerns to the relevant departments.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing plumbing work.
  • Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Follow standard operating procedures SOPs and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Plumber in an industrial or commercial setting.
  • Certification or diploma in Plumbing or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required.
