Job Summary:

  • The Salon Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the salon, managing staff, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry, excellent leadership skills, and a strong background in salon management.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordination and Administrative Duties:

  • Ensure client records are updated and accurately maintained.
  • Coordinate stylist schedules to optimize appointment bookings.
  • Manage inventory of retail products and salon supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout the salon.

Reception and Customer Service:

  • Greet clients warmly and professionally as they enter the salon.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle client inquiries promptly.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments using the salon's booking system.
  • Provide information about salon services, pricing, and promotions to clients.
  • Handle client check-ins and check-outs, including processing payments and managing the cash register.

Sales and Promotion:

  • Promote salon services and products to clients, encouraging sales and repeat visits.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, such as social media updates and promotional events.
  • Track and report on sales and client feedback to help improve salon services.

Team Support:

  • Assist salon staff with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the salon team to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Handle any client complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate to the salon manager when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Salon Manager or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in salon management software and basic accounting.
  • Knowledge of beauty industry trends and best practices.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in beauty or business management is a plus.
