ABOUT THE COMPANY
Dogan's Sugar Limited is a company established in July 2013 in Lagos, Nigeria, with the aim of producing quality sugar products in Nigeria. It is a subsidiary of Ata Ltd. Co., Ukraine's leading cube sugar manufacturing company with over 70% market share. Ata produces a variety of FMCG products in Ukraine.
JOB SUMMARY
- Bachelor's Degree in Transport Management, Logistics or Business Management or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of transportation industry and logistics.
- Ability to work well with team members and navigate stressful situations.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Excellent work ethics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate transport drivers and motor-boys.
- Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking of transportation vehicles.
- Arrange repairs and routine maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with transportation-related policies, safety rules, and government regulations.
- Improve operational systems, processes, and best practices.
- Ensure cost-effective operations.
- Help maintain legal compliance in operations.
- Ensure timely transport deliveries and pick-ups.
- Manage budgets and forecasts.
- Perform calculations for destinations, duration, time, and diesel needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
