JOB SUMMARY

Requirements First Degree in Engineering or Science/Intermediate & Final NABIM. At least 3 years cognate experience in a similar role. Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. PGD in Milling Technology & Quality Control will be an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To ensure the timely and efficient production of flour within the mill facilities while optimizing processing efficiencies and adhering to customer specifications.Duties Monitor the entire milling process, from receipt of raw materials, and perform basic equipment maintenance/troubleshooting tasks for all equipment related to the operation of the mill. Assist Chief Miller in maximizing milling efficiencies in the plant daily by focusing on adjustment and operation of cleaning house and mill equipment. Enforce Health & Safety regulations. Implement on-the-job training for milling staff to enhance milling skills. Maintain accurate documentation, production, shift reports as well as mill and maintenance issues. Ensure good hygiene and housekeeping practices within the production environment. Minimize unplanned production downtime.
