ABOUT THE COMPANY
MKOBO is a fully licensed Microfinance bank by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Lagos, Nigeria. MKOBO was conceived to help solve consumers' need for access to short-term emergency credit. Our goal is to provide access to short term unsecured loans, which is easily accessible. We cater to the demography currently undeserved by the Commercial banks in our aim to help increase financial inclusion of the Nigerian population
JOB SUMMARY
Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred). Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior marketing leadership role within FinTech, financial services, or a similar industry. Proven track record of building and scaling user bases for FinTech products. Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, etc.). Experience with marketing automation tools and marketing analytics platforms. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and a strong understanding of the Nigerian business environment.You Are: A seasoned marketing leader with a proven track record of driving user acquisition and brand growth in the FinTech or a related industry. An expert in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies across digital, traditional, and performance marketing channels. Deeply knowledgeable of the Nigerian and African financial landscape, with a strong understanding of the target audiences (consumers and SMEs). A data-driven marketer with experience in utilizing marketing analytics and attribution modeling to measure success. An inspiring and collaborative leader with the ability to build and manage a high-performing marketing team. An excellent communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills. A passionate believer in financial inclusion and the power of FinTech to revolutionize access to financial services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Lead the development and execution of user acquisition campaigns across various channels to achieve ambitious growth targets Oversee all aspects of brand management, ensuring a clear, consistent, and compelling brand message across all touchpoints Manage and optimize the company's digital marketing presence, including website, social media, and mobile app Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns for both consumer and SME segments, promoting savings, loans, and earned wage access products Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with other FinTech companies, financial institutions, and relevant organizations Lead market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify new growth opportunities Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Develop and maintain a marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing ROI Analyze marketing campaign performance using data and metrics to optimize effectiveness Lead the marketing efforts for the company's expansion into new African markets.
