Responsibilities:
- Generating an investment policy statement outlining our clients' investment objectives
- Staying up to date with relevant investment, trading news, and economic trends.
- Constructing successful investment portfolios informed by market conditions and economic trends. Buying and selling securities in client accounts to maintain a specific investment strategy or to reach an investment objective.
- Perform significant market research to develop portfolios.
- Communicate with clients about their accounts, market conditions and economic trends.
- Manage equity and bond portfolios to maximize investment returns.
- Designing investment packages, managing client expectations and transactions to achieve set objectives.
- Commensurate acceptable levels of risk based on client instructions.
- Maintaining new and existing client relationships, including informing clients of market conditions, updating them on investment research and economic trends, and
- Meeting with them to discuss their portfolio performance and investment objectives.
- Prospecting for new clients
Requirements
- B.SC Business Administration/Finance/Economics
- Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA Should be an added advantage
- 5 - 7 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated understanding of capital markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong analytical skills with high level of attention
- Financial Accounting and Analysis
- Proficient use of accounting software Info ware, sage300, cloud integra
- Proficient use of Microsoft office
