JOB SUMMARY

The PersonMinimum academic qualification of Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology.Network security qualification, not required but recommended.Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a LAN and WAN administration environment.Project Management.Strong inter- personal and team building skills.Efficient time and task management.Ability to adapt to technological change.Innovative and creative.Must be a resident of Benin.

RESPONSIBILITIES

IT Network Support:Deploy LAN / WAN / SAN and internet related equipment'sPhysical installation of all IT equipment's in data centres and technical roomsConfigures, updates and backups of all Voice/ LAN/WAN/SAN and internet equipment'sCompleting Service Requests and resolving Incidents received from Service Desk as per Operational Guidelines.IT Voice Support:Regularly update the voice directoryInstall new phones and update policies on phonesEnsure secure phone communication between regions and subsidiariesEnsure support contact canter.Network and Security Monitoring:Network equipment performance analysis to pro-actively prevent service interruptionsProduction of internal Network and Voice performance dashboards and reportsIssuing security alerts when required and implementing necessary shut-downs, rollbacks and workaroundsInitiate Problem and Change management, when requiredEscalation of serious security threats or breeches to Infrastructure Management and Service Quality Assurance.
