Job Details

  • Collaborate with the design team, including interior designers, product developers, and engineers, to conceptualize and develop new furniture designs that align with the company's brand identity and market trends.
  • Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts and specifications to the manufacturing team.
  • Conduct research on emerging design trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporate them into new furniture designs.
  • Develop prototypes and mock-ups to test and validate design concepts, ensuring their feasibility and functionality.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure the smooth transition from design to manufacturing, providing guidance and technical support throughout the production process.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, industry standards, and regulations, considering factors such as ergonomics, structural integrity, and safety.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for each furniture design, considering cost, quality, and sustainability factors.
  • Participate in design review meetings, providing valuable insights and feedback to improve designs and streamline the production process.
  • Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring that design deliverables are completed within established deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual materials, such as brochures, catalogs, and digital assets, to promote new furniture collections.
