Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, creating menus, and ensuring high-quality food production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Maintain kitchen safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Control food costs, inventory, and waste management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective service
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and innovations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and laws
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Certification in culinary arts or hospitality optional
