JOB SUMMARY
- A Medical Degree and a Master's Degree in Public Health or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of field experience, including managing large, complex multi-partner development programs and donor-funded projects, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Experience with PEPFAR, GHSA, and RMNCH programs.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategies using evidence-based methods to meet project goals, especially under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in working with diverse stakeholders, such as local partners, government officials, donors, and communities.
- Demonstrated leadership, operational planning, and strategic analysis skills.
- High level of personal integrity, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong human resource management abilities, including capacity building and conflict resolution.
- Experience in supervising and developing teams in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in financial management, budget oversight, audit follow-up, and donor compliance.
- Fluency in English, strong writing, and presentation skills.
- Effective communication with senior management, government officials, and various stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and management support for community and healthcare security programs in Nigeria.
- Act as the technical lead for the USAID-funded ACE 3 project in Kebbi, Zamfara, and Sokoto states.
- Ensure quality services for the project's target population and offer technical assistance for community systems strengthening.
- Supervise the PHN ACE 3 team and manage the growth of health security and community programs.
