Responsibilities
- Design and develop programmes aimed at addressing migration challenges and promoting regular, safe, and orderly migration.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure effective implementation of programmes.
- Develop partnerships with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders to leverage resources and expertise.
- Contribute to the development of policies and strategies related to migration, in alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Monitor and evaluate programme activities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate programme outcomes to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in the field of migration and development.
- Provide technical assistance and support to partners in programme planning, implementation, and monitoring.
- Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and workshops.
Education and Experience Essential
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Development, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Previous experience in programme design, implementation, and evaluation, preferably in the field of migration or humanitarian assistance.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in building and maintaining partnerships.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks and methodologies. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
- Adaptability and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
