JOB SUMMARY

Education and Experience A minimum of OND in Engineering in Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or related field. Proven experience of 3-5 years as a Boiler Operator or similar role in a soyabean processing plant. Age Requirement: 23-35 years.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Purpose The Boiler Operator is to generate high quality steam from both LPFO boiler and Firewood boiler as per Standard Operating Procedure.Duties / Duties Operate, control and adjust manual and automatic controls to either increase or decrease feed water to boiler for maintenance of proper and safe water level in the boiler drum. Obtain and maintain maximum boiler combustion efficiency. Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure incoming water for boiler operator meet required standards. Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, collaborating with maintenance teams when necessary. Maintain accurate record plant operational metrics as per checklist Provide detailed shift reports to ensure smooth transitions between operators. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring working environment. Must be able to synergize with other departments to achieve set goals. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Accountability for assigned works with attention to detail is a must.Required Skills / Abilities Good oral and written communication skills. Good teaming skills. Strong operational knowledge of both LPFO and Firewood boiler. Baseline problem analysis and solving skills. Creativity and an ability to think out of the box. Robust experience in troubleshooting, motor checks & repairs Should be knowledgeable on general maintenance mechanics. Should have basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting. Strong attention to details to detail and a commitment to quality.
