Science Teacher

Job Summary

TAAS College seeks a dedicated Science Teacher to teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Integrated Science to secondary school students, with a focus on inspiring young minds and delivering engaging lessons.

• Deliver high-quality science lessons in line with the Nigerian curriculum and examination standards
• Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials
• Engage students through interactive and practical lessons
• Assess and provide feedback on student performance
• Prepare students for internal and external exams
• Maintain classroom discipline and promote a safe learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators
• Participate in staff meetings and school events

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field
• Minimum 3-7 years of teaching experience in a secondary school, with a focus on science subjects
• Proven experience preparing students for WAEC and NECO exams
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods
• Proficiency in using modern teaching technologies

Location

Candidates must be willing to relocate to Ibadan or already reside close to Apata, Ibadan.
