Livestock Expert

Join our team as a Livestock Management Specialist and play a key role in ensuring the success of our livestock-related projects. As a specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to project teams, ensuring that livestock management considerations are incorporated into project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

• Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans related to livestock management and production, providing expert advice on the feasibility and requirements of livestock-related projects.
• Specialized Guidance and Support: Offer specialized knowledge on best practices for livestock care, nutrition, breeding, and health management, assisting project teams in understanding and addressing livestock-related challenges and opportunities.
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Oversee the progress of livestock-related projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the impact of project interventions on livestock productivity and welfare.
• Stakeholder Communication and Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for all livestock-related project inquiries and issues, facilitating communication between project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment and collaboration.
• Regulatory and Compliance Oversight: Ensure that all livestock-related projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, staying updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in livestock management.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, decisions, and outcomes related to livestock management, and develop and deliver regular progress reports and final evaluations to senior management and stakeholders.

• Education: Master's Degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Proven experience in livestock management with a strong understanding of animal health, nutrition, and breeding, and experience in project management or working within a Project Management Office is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions, excellent organizational and time management skills, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
