  • We are seeking a talented and creative Product Designer to join our dynamic team at Youverify.
  • The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, a strong sense of user-centric design, and the ability to transform complex ideas into intuitive and engaging products.
  • The ability to create designs that have an emotional connection with users, understand user needs and desires, and craft a compelling story around the product is a key differentiator.
  • As a Product Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver innovative products that meet both user needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept Development: Generate innovative design concepts and translate them into feasible product designs through sketches, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs, preferences, and pain points. Analyze feedback and data to inform design decisions.
  • Design Execution: Create detailed design specifications, for product features, ensuring alignment with user experience principles and brand guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with project goals. Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews.
  • Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to test design concepts and iterate based on user feedback and technical constraints.
  • Design Systems: Own the development and maintenance of a consistent design language and system across all products.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies, and integrate relevant innovations into the design process.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the engineering team during the development phase to ensure the final product meets design specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, computer science, engineering or a related field or a professional certification/training in a design-related field or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing successful design projects that have gone from concept to production. At least 1 year of leadership experience managing a minimum of 2 persons.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Experience with embedding micro-interactions in designs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
