Assistant Store Keeper

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Store Keeper to join our team in West Africa.

As an Assistant Store Keeper, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store or warehouse, receiving, storing, and dispatching goods in a timely and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming goods, checking for damage and discrepancies between goods, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Accurately sort, label, and store goods, optimizing warehouse space to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Pick and deliver goods according to relevant logistics processes.
  • Pack, label, and dispatch outgoing goods with relevant documents.
  • Maintain accurate logistics data to relevant systems, ensuring up-to-date stock and inventory records.
  • Operate forklifts and/or other warehouse machinery according to process and safety instructions.
  • Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process, developing quality, delivery, safety, and methods.
  • Ensure the store or warehouse area is kept clean and organized, adhering to guidelines to ensure work safety and ergonomics.
  • Operate Maximo inventory management as per plant procedure.
  • Perform other activities related to AMEO and FSTM processes.
