ABOUT THE COMPANY

The long-term goal of Nuru Nigeria is the establishment of a locally led, self-sustainable, Nigerian NGO which will continue to work with local rural communities indefinitely.

JOB SUMMARY

Qualification and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in P&ID design and engineering within the Oil and Gas sector. Proficiency in P&ID software tools such as AutoCAD, Smart Plant P&ID, or Aveva P&ID. Strong understanding of P&ID Development principles, industry standards (e.g., ANSI/ISA-5.1), and regulatory requirements. Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and documents. At least 8 years of experience in engineering and project management in the oil and gas sector, including experience in EPCIM projects. Professional certificatione.g., COREN, NSE is mandatory. Relevant certifications in installation engineering, project management, or HSE are advantageous. Offshore survival certification (e.g., BOSIET) and offshore medical certification are desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties An experienced P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) Engineer with a minimum of 9 years of expertise in P&ID design and engineering within the Oil and Gas industry, a strong understanding of industry standards and project requirements. The P&ID Engineer will be responsible for the Development, review, and optimization of P&ID drawings for various projects.
