Executive Chef

Join our team as an Executive Chef and take on the challenge of leading our kitchen to new heights. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating innovative menu concepts, managing inventory, and overseeing kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Define menu concepts and update dishes to ensure a unique and exciting dining experience for our customers.
  • Ingredient Sourcing: Choose key ingredients for dishes on various menu types, ensuring the highest quality and freshness.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks, including meeting with vendors and ordering supplies, to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee kitchen equipment purchases, repairs, and ordering restaurant kitchen cleaning supplies to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Satisfaction Monitoring: Monitor customer satisfaction and make adjustments to menu and service as needed.
  • Hygiene and Organization: Supervise a hygienic and organized working space, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain and track inventory to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Budget Management: Work within allocated budget to ensure cost-effective kitchen operations.
  • Vendor Relations: Meet face-to-face with vendors to build strong relationships and negotiate the best deals.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay current on developing trends in the restaurant industry to stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: OND qualification with 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Culinary Skills: Ability to manage an entire kitchen, including food preparation, presentation, and plating.
  • Budgeting Skills: Ability to manage kitchen budgets and control costs.
  • Food Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the food industry, including trends, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train, direct, and supervise kitchen staff.
