JOB SUMMARY

QualificationsInterested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 3 - 5 years work experience.Valid license to practice medicine from the Nigerian Medical and Dental Association.Certification by the Nigerian Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or West African College of Physicians (WACP) in Pediatrics or as a Consultant, as applicable.Excellent hand-eye coordination, stamina, and empathy for patients.Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and patient safety.Familiarity with cultural and religious considerations of patients.Knowledge of current legislation on patient rights.Professional demeanor and commitment to providing compassionate care.Evidence of competence in pediatric case management and active participation in relevant research.RemunerationSalary in line with industry standard

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments of pediatric patients.Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and developmental issues.Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, therapies, and other interventions.Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of pediatric conditions.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
