JOB SUMMARY

Requirements Degree in Nursing or relevant Nursing qualification 3 - 4 years work experience. Experience in clinical work as a Nurse Good communication and organizational skills Must be a female between the age of 25-40 years Empathetic and able to relate with children Ability to demonstrate a calm, caring demeanor when working with children Good presentation skills for training school staff Ability to remain focused in the event of a student medical emergency

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Brief We are looking for an experienced school nurse, who can provide essential medical care and support to students.Job Duties Educating students and staff on health-related issues. Conducting health screenings Dispensing prescription medications to students per physician instructions Verifying vaccination records Taking students' temperatures when fever is suspected Administering first aid and CPR Treating minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes, and bruises including chronic illnesses. Contacting parents when students are ill or injured
