Join our team as a Marine Terminal Coordinator and play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient turnaround of gas carriers and condensate tankers.

Main Functions:
  • Assure the safe and efficient turnaround of gas carriers and condensate tankers.
  • Manage and oversee critical contractors, including tug and port services providers.
Job Description:
  • Coordinate tugs and port services.
  • Coordinate the Safety/Surveillance vessel.
  • Coordinate general and other activities at the marine terminal.
  • Support contractor interfacing and management through the application of Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) 8-1 practices.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure self-monitoring reporting.
  • Prepare for and implement industry best practices, including Marine Terminal Management and Self-Assessment (MTMSA) and Marine Terminal Operator Competence & Training (MTOCT).
  • Implement additional systems and practices as required.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Make recommendations for improving safety and operational efficiency.
  • Provide assistance with and oversight of controls-related activities, including marine fueling.
  • Assist with the implementation and improvement of company best practices.
  • Prepare for and implement industry best practices, including MTMSA and MTOCT.
  • Perform technical writing services and review/update documents, manuals, and procedures.
  • Streamline and enhance operating practices.
  • Provide project management services and oversight of marine terminal-related projects.
  • Perform vessel inspections and marine quality assurance-related assessments.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Prior marine experience as a senior officer position.
  • Master Mariner's license.
  • Experience in the company operations organization (preferred).
  • University degree (preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience on VLCC or FSO/FPSO.
  • Strong culture of 'Nobody Gets Hurt'.
  • Expert knowledge of current large tanker applied mooring operations and best practices.
  • Knowledge of applied Operations Integrity Systems, specifically OIMS 8-1.
Requirements:
  • Possess Master Marine, a certificate of competence (COC).
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience on VLCC or FSO/FPSO.
