Treasury Executive

Seeking an experienced Finance Director to oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as lead the finance and accounting teams to drive business growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize the company's capital structure and financing options to ensure business profitability.
• Analyze revenue opportunities, economic trends, and internal operations to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Develop and manage the company's risk management strategy, including liability and investment analysis and capital structure evaluation.
• Collaborate with senior managers to develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure compliance with contracts and fundraising initiatives.
• Monitor business performance using tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for the management team and company stakeholders.
• Design and implement the company's financial reporting framework, accounting policies, tax management, and controls.
• Establish and maintain the company's financial systems, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Liaise with external tax consultants to ensure successful tax filings and compliance.
• Prepare monthly and annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial statements for the company.
• Oversee all foreign exchange transactions and ensure foreign currency exposure is mitigated.
• Manage the bookkeeping function, including maintenance of the general ledger and resolution of any irregularities.
• Coordinate the audit process with external auditors and ensure all supporting documents are available for a smooth and successful audit.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution.
• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting from manufacturing companies.
• Membership in professional certifications such as Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in computer software and systems.
