Senior Mechanic

Job Title: Senior Mechanic - Tipper

Location: Ikorodu

Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic to diagnose and repair mechanical issues with our fleet of tippers. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with tippers, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Conduct inspections and testing to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure vehicles are running safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to share knowledge and best practices
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections
- Ensure all work is done to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience as a mechanic, preferably working on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heavy tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license
