Role Overview

The Activation & Community Officer will serve as SportyCam’s on-ground representative in Lagos, handling club relations, activations, content coordination, and lead generation for media and coverage projects.
This individual will work directly with the Brand Manager to ensure SportyCam’s field operations, partnerships, and bookings run smoothly while maintaining a strong presence within Lagos’ sports ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Club Onboarding & Relationship Management

Represent SportyCam at all Lagos club activations and community events.
Engage football and sports club executives to drive registrations on the platform.
Coordinate on-ground logistics during activations — including player signups, interviews, and media documentation.
Serve as the main liaison between the Brand Manager and the clubs.
2. Sales & Booking Coordination

Act as a sales representative for SportyCam’s media and content creation services.
Proactively reach out to clubs, academies, and event organizers to secure paid bookings.
Convert at least five (5) sales or partnership leads monthly (out of an expected seven), while escalating remaining prospects to the Brand Manager.
Maintain detailed records of outreach, leads, and signed deals.
3. Content & Social Engagement

Collaborate with the media team to capture and organize video and photo content during activations.
Support in producing and scheduling content that promotes SportyCam’s visibility, including behind-the-scenes clips, interviews, and highlight reels.
Ensure that every activation and event includes at least one collaboration post with participating clubs.
4. Brand Awareness & Community Building

Promote SportyCam as both a sports management and media coverage brand through direct outreach and online engagement.
Encourage clubs and players to follow and engage with SportyCam’s official social media pages.
Ensure that SportyCam maintains consistent public presence by posting at least one content creation highlight or coverage video per week.
5. Reporting & Coordination

Provide weekly activity reports and monthly performance summaries to the Brand Manager.
Attend virtual meetings for strategy, reporting, and review sessions as scheduled.
Ensure effective communication with other team members for cross-functional support.
Qualifications

Proven interest or experience in sports, marketing, or media coordination.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Must be based in Lagos and able to attend weekend activations.
Ability to manage multiple clubs and deliver under limited supervision.
Basic knowledge of digital platforms (Instagram, WhatsApp Business, Google Workspace, Trello, etc.).
Additional Information

This role is part-time and flexible, ideal for individuals with weekday commitments or 9–5 jobs.
Transport and logistics are not covered; candidates are expected to work independently.
Role performance will be reviewed monthly, with potential for increased pay based on impact and growth.
