Job Summary
The Content Strategist/Art Manager is a dual-role professional who develops and executes compelling content strategies while overseeing creative design and visual branding. The role requires a mix of creativity, strategic planning, and leadership to ensure cohesive messaging and aesthetics across all channels. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple teams to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and marketing effectiveness.
This role requires a balance of creative vision and hands-on design skills, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, designers, account managers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy and Development
1. Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with the company’s goals and brand voice.
2. Conduct content audits to identify gaps and opportunities across digital, social, and print platforms.
3. Plan and manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of campaigns.
4. Research industry trends and audience preferences to inform content creation.
5. Write, edit, and optimize high-quality content for various mediums, including blogs, newsletters, and social media.
6. Oversee the creation of visual assets, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with strategic objectives.
7. Collaborate with other creatives to produce engaging visuals and multimedia content.
8. Provide creative direction for campaigns, photo shoots, and visual storytelling initiatives.
9. Ensure all artwork and visuals meet technical specifications and aesthetic standards.
10. Manage and maintain the brand’s visual identity guidelines.
11. Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to align content and visuals with organizational objectives.
12. Monitor and analyze the performance of content and visual campaigns using metrics and analytics tools.
Experience: 4-5 years of proven experience as a creative and content creation in a marketing, advertising, or creative agency environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
i. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
ii. Understanding of print production processes and technical specifications.
iii. Strong visual storytelling ability and attention to detail in delivering impactful, brand-aligned designs.
iv. Ability to articulate design ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing, to clients and internal teams.
