Printing technician/modeler

Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Printing Technician/Modeler with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise in printing processes and modeling skills, enabling them to produce high-quality printed materials and prototypes. This role requires attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with design teams to bring concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities:•Operate and maintain 3D printers (FDM, SLA, and other types) to ensure smooth operation and high-quality production of 3D-printed parts.
•Manage material loading, calibration, and troubleshooting of printing equipment to achieve optimal performance.
•Post-process printed items, including sanding, polishing, and cleaning resin prints to meet quality standards.
•Conduct quality control for printed products, ensuring they meet specifications and are free from defects.
•Collaborate with design teams to understand project requirements and specifications, ensuring all models and printed materials meet quality expectations.
•Set up and manage printing jobs by interpreting job orders, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring proper material usage.
•Monitor print quality during production runs, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
•Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to printing and modeling equipment to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:•High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in printing technology, graphic design, or a related field is preferred.
•2 to 5 years of experience as a printing technician or modeler, with hands-on experience in both areas.
•Proficient in operating and troubleshooting 3D printing equipment and modeling software (e.g., CAD, 3D modeling).
•Strong understanding of various printing processes and technologies, including color management and print finishing techniques.
•Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for quality and accuracy.
•Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•Basic computer skills for job tracking and equipment management.
