Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to senior engineers on large-scale projects.

• Collect and analyze data from construction sites, including soil conditions and land elevations.

• Conduct site surveys to assess existing conditions and inform design decisions.

• Perform calculations to estimate material requirements and other engineering specifications.

• Develop construction plans for infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and sewer systems.

• Administer tests to measure physical properties of materials.

• Prepare drawings, sketches, charts, and schematics for project proposals.

• Collect and test material samples using laboratory equipment.

• Compile reports detailing research findings and project conclusions.

• Explore new construction materials and methods to enhance existing designs.

• Review blueprints and design documents to ensure compliance with code requirements.

• Conduct studies to optimize the use of resources such as land or water.

• Collaborate with architects and designers to meet client needs while adhering to regulations.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the team lead.

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry.

• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.

• Solid analytical and mathematical skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
