Pharmaceutical Production Engineer

The client, a significant player in the pharma industry since 2005, is a manufacturer, distributor and marketer of high-quality pharmaceutical products. The company has over a hundred employees across the country and a strong presence in the Nigerian pharma market, with a wide range of products in various therapeutic segments, such as antibiotic, anti-mycotic, cardiovascular, analgesic and multivitamin. The company is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions, producing safe and effective pharmaceuticals and enhancing the health and well-being of the people around the world.
To support its production and quality assurance processes, it requires a qualified and experienced Pharmaceutical Production Engineer.
Pharmaceutical Production Engineer (Lagos)
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing operations of the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate will also be involved in designing, installing, testing and maintaining production equipment and systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and ensuring safety and efficiency of the production staff.
Requirements
• OND/HND/BSc or in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related fields
• 3 or more years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a production or engineering role
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), quality control, and validation methods
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team, under pressure and with minimal supervision
