Finance Supervisor MT

Responsibilities:
-Ensuring timely remittance of PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension deductions and NHF
-Review and verification of posting transactions into accurate ledgers
-Training of junior staff to enhance knowledge and skills while still providing guidance
-Ability to independently prepare periodic reports and SEC compliant financial statements.
-Coordination of year end audit by submitting requested documents and liaising with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely conclusion in line with Management objectives.

Qualifications:
-B.Sc Accounting with a minimum of second class upper
-5-8 years financial reporting/control experience in a bank or reputable asset management firm
-Practical knowledge of IFRSs with specific mastery of IFRS 9.
-Full membership of ICAN or ACCA
-Excellent communication/report writing/probing skills
-Ability to independently prepare periodic management reports and SEC compliant financial statements
-Verifiable experience of handling tax and statutory financial audits
-Previous supervisory/team leadership experience is a plus
-Big 4 experience is a plus.
