Mechanical Engineer
• Job Summary: The Mechanical Engineer will design, maintain, and improve mechanical systems and equipment within the production facility. This role involves ensuring the reliability of mechanical systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to enhance production efficiency.
Job Description:
• Design, implement, and maintain mechanical systems to support production processes.
• Perform regular maintenance on mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to optimize mechanical systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all mechanical work.
• Document and report on mechanical maintenance activities, including any issues and solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production staff on the operation of mechanical equipment.
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues effectively.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in mechanical work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications: ND/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
